Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Offer Bath and Kitchen Design Consultations?
Yes! We provide design consultations and work closely with Home Depot’s design consultants for kitchen and bath remodels to ensure you get the best options for your space and style.
Are Your Fixed Rate Estimates Free?
Absolutely. We offer free, no-obligation estimates for all bath remodeling projects in the Denver Metro area and surrounding counties.
How Long Does a Bath Remodel Take?
Most bath remodeling projects are completed in 1-2 weeks, depending on the project scope.
How Long Does a Kitchen Remodel Take?
Most kitchen remodeling projects are completed in 2-3 weeks, depending on the project scope.
How Long Does It Take to Complete Unfinished Basement or Remodel Existing Basement?
The timeline for finishing or remodeling a basement in the Denver Metro area typically ranges from 3 to 5 weeks. The exact duration depends on the size of your basement, the complexity of your design, and any custom features you choose (such as bathrooms, wet bars, or home theaters). After your free consultation and design approval, RMM Tile & Flooring will provide a detailed project schedule so you know exactly what to expect. Our team works efficiently to minimize disruption and deliver high-quality results on time.
How Long Does it Take to Build a New Deck or Replace Existing Deck?
Building a new deck or replacing an existing deck with composite materials like Trex, Timber Tech, or Fiberon usually takes 2 to 4 weeks from start to finish. The timeline can vary based on the size of your deck, site conditions, and the complexity of your design (such as custom railings, stairs, or integrated lighting). After your initial consultation, RMM will give you a clear project timeline and keep you updated every step of the way.
What’s Included in Your Fixed Rate Quote?
Our fixed-rate quote includes all work discussed upfront, with no hidden fees. Each quote is carefully customized to your specific project needs, ensuring an accurate and detailed price. Because of this personalized approach, we require up to 72 hours to deliver your fixed-rate quote.
How Much Does It Cost to Remodel a Bath, Kitchen, Basement or Build a Deck?
Costs for bathroom, kitchen, basement, or deck projects can vary widely depending on the size of the space, materials selected, and the complexity of your design. At RMM Tile & Flooring, we believe in transparency and accuracy—after your initial in-home consultation, we’ll provide a detailed, fixed-rate quote within 72 hours. This way, you’ll know exactly what to expect with no hidden fees or surprises.
Can I Remove Items from My Fixed-Rate Estimate and Get a Price Reduction After Putting Down a Deposit?
Our contractors are based on a fixed rate estimate for the entire project, not individual items. This means it’s usually difficult to provide a price reduction if items are removed after a deposit is made. We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes and offer a fair adjustment, if possible, but reductions are typically minimal since our pricing reflects the overall project planning and management.
When Is My Down Payment Due?
Down payments are required on the day of installation.
Can I Remove or Add Items Before my Project Begins?
Yes, you can make changes to your project if you give us advance notice. Please let us
know at least 7 days before your scheduled installation so we can update your estimate
and ensure everything is ready.
When We Say up to 72 Hours to Deliver the Quote, What Does That Mean?
The 72 hours start the day after your initial in-house consultation—excluding that day. The clock runs the next full day and the following two days. Sundays are not counted since we are closed. You will receive your detailed, customized fixed-rate quote within this time.
Are There any Additional Fees Beyond the Fixed-Rate Quote?
Not necessarily. If unforeseen issues arise during demolition, such as even floors, additional plumbing or hidden damage, a change order will be prepared. No work beyond the original scope will proceed without your prior approval and signed authorization, ensuring you maintain control of your project at all times.
Do You Handle Demolition and Cleanup?
Yes, we take care of demo, installation, and cleanup to leave your space spotless.
Do I Need to Vacate my Home During Remodel?
It depends on your comfort level and preferences. If you wish to be present during demolition and installation, we will coordinate around your schedule. If you’re comfortable, our installers can work while you’re not home. Ultimately, it’s entirely your decision, and we will work to ensure you’re comfortable throughout the process.
Do You Offer Rewards or Discounts?
Yes. At RMM Tile & Flooring, we value our community and believe in giving back. When you refer friends, family, or neighbors to us, you'll receive a $500 discount on your next project — and your referral will enjoy a discount too. Join us in building a trusted network of satisfied customers. It's simple: refer, save, and celebrate great results together.
Can I Cancel After Signing the Fixed Rate Contract?
Yes, you can cancel your project with a least 14-day notice before installation. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance will incur a $500.00. fee.
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept cash, check, cashier’s check, credit card, debit card, and Venom. Please note, if you choose to pay by credit card or debit card, a 3% processing fee will apply. We do not include this fee in our base rate because we like to give our customers the flexibility to avid the processing fee by choosing another payment method. This approach helps us keep our rates low and completive.
Is My Deposit Refundable?
Deposits are generally non-refundable unless the project is canceled with sufficient advance notice, as outlined in our cancellation policy.
What Happens if My Project is Delayed Due to Weather or Other Unforeseen Circumstances?
We will communicate any delays as soon as possible and work with you to reschedule at the earliest available date.
Will I Receive a Separate Invoice or Receipt?
Your signed contract includes a detailed breakdown of all project’s costs, payment schedule, deposit requirements, and project terms. This contract serves as your official invoice and receipt for your records.
Who Should I Contact if I Have Questions or Need to Make Changes to My Project?
Please contact your assigned installer and we’ll be happy to assist you.
